[CSGO] Weird lagspikes when I die

In cs:go, when I die I sometimes have weird lagspikes (1/2 times when I just started my game, 1/6 times when I have my game running for about an hour). It occurs more when I am hosting a server for me and my friends, but it occurs on matchmaking as well. The game completely freezes for ~1 second, and it occurs ONLY when I die, or someone who I can see dies. When I am hosting the server the server freezes too for ~1 second.

When the lag happens I can clearly see a fall in cpu usage in task manager, and when the lag is over it instantly returns to normal.

I tried:

• Reinstalling the game, including deleting all config files

• Validating all game files

Do you have v-sync on? Do you have 'laptop power saving mode' on (in CSGO settings)?

V-Sync is off, I capped my fps at 200 using fps_max 200.

 

Laptop power saving mode is off.

Played with it for about 5 minutes, no lag spike yet.

I will test a bit more.

Didn't work, I still have some lagspikes altough it happens a lot less often
