What would be a ssd at around 256GB that would be the fastest for boot times also is NVMe faster than m.2 or is it not comparable as they are there for diffrent reasons?

M.2 is a connector NVMe is a protocol

why are people so concerned about boot times?

Because unlike you, we actually shut down our computers.

Kidding aside, isn't there an (sort of) issue with the 950 Pro thermal throttling. Someone back me up?

I get that people want fast storage, that's okay, but don't  be crazy about boot times... it's like getting a Ferrari for grocery shopping
