What do these wires do?

I have a monitor that my neighbor gave me because he said it was broken. I've determined that the issue was that the ccfl lighting had gone bad, and I ordered a replacement part for it. When you put it all back together, you have to plug the original connectors into the new light. I need to know what each wire actually does. There are four. Pink, white, light blue, and black. The four function are ground, on/off, dim, and voltage. can anyone tell me which one of the wires does what? Thanks,
