DEAD PC. Parts moving, NO display. Even When switched onto onboard graphics...

jewishdolphins

title says it. Fans move, LED lights turn on, power supply works fine, and graphics card fans run. However, when I turn on my pc there's no image on my monitor. I took out the ram and put it back in and I did the same with the lithium bios battery. I also took out the graphics card and put it back in afterwards. Nothing. This all started when I was in a hurry to leave my house and I held the "off" button and force shut off my PC while CSGO (Counter Strike: Global Offensive) was still running. Not sure if this creates some kind of electrical screw up, or what...

The only odd thing that I noticed is that my CPU LED is red when I turn on my PC. However, I feel like the light has always been red since I've built it, so it doubt it's the problem....but it's something to consider.

IF ANYONE knows anything about electricity and/or PC parts, reply PLEASE.

PS. KEEP IN MIND I SWITCHED TO ONBOARD GRAPHICS ALREADY AND THERES STILL NO DISPLAY. I ALSO CLEARED THE CMOS ALREADY AND DID AS MUCH AS I COULD. KEEP IN MIND THERES A RED LED ON THE CPU LED. NOT SURE IF IT MEANS ANYTHING OR IF ITS EVEN RELATED BUT ITS SOMETHING TO CONSIDER. thanks.

That might have been it. Can you borrow another PSU from someone? The CX series is pretty poor quality and you should see if that's the problem.

JUST FOUND THE PROBLEM !

that psu has crap caps in it so it hangs the cpu, and causes it to shut down or reboot.

Get a new one, probably a EVGA psu, but avoid the NEX ones.

one test you could try is take out the gpu and try using the integrated graphics on your processor.

Well how exactly did you switch to onboard graphics without a display?

Did you remove the gpu when you were trying the onboard?  Considering you don't have a display to actually go into bios and switch it...
