you will still need quicktime for other editors for the same reason davinci uses it


just use resolve its the best one

Wish I heard of DaVinci Resolve before now, looks interesting...

 

I bought NCH VideoPad recently. There is supposed to be a free forever version of it but maybe I did something wrong and it wanted updating after some time. It is quite a low purchase price though.
