HP G62 Caps lock flashing

Hello. I have a old laptop, the HP G62. I was doing things on it when it shut off and then (poof) i wont even go to the bios. I have old files on it that i would like to get off. If i don't have to go to a data recovery place that would be nice. if anyone can help that is appreciated, Thanks
