Let's jump in the problem. I'm using Windows 10 Pro and having a Crimson Edition latest graphics card driver. And i have a HD7950 Saphire OC in my case, it usually gets about 60-ish Celcius while i'm playing CSGO, a game that does not require a beastly super power gaming capatible pc, but it happens all the time. The usage usually gets to 70 to 80% or even 90% in a gun fight. That's ok with me because i know it is an AMD card, from 2012, but in-game, sometimes the PC got frozen, usually twice in a 50-min competitive game and then got back-up. In a few minutes after, the game consecutively drop fps, sometimes it is down to 0 FPS. I used this card for 3 months and it was normal, but in...like a week, these things just keep happening to me every single day. Even when i'm running Word 2010 and Powerpoint 2010, the usage is 0% but the temp is like 45 degrees Celcius, the fan speed is usually 60%  I think the driver is the problem. I don't know, i hope you guys can help me with this, thanks you for your supports. Looking forward for solutions

My specs is very decent, i used a GTX750ti TF before and have no problem

Intel Core i5 - 4460 running at default clock @3.2 GHz with Stock cooler, runs very quiet

8 GB of RAM, DDR3 1600Mhz with 2 channels

Used GTX750ti and found no problems

HD7950[The error comes in this GPU], Saphire OC dual fans running, i OC-ed it to 1100 MHz but the sound is quiet, even when it is 850 MHz, it still reach 50-65 degree Celcius

VS550, provide 330W from the wall while playing CSGO and Minecraft is just 220W. Running Crysis: Warhead and Battlefield 4 in about 430W, Firestrike in 460W

2 Seasonic fans

Latest AMD Crimson Edition driver

Do you get a message in the system tray that the driver crashed and has successfully recovered?

Well my driver crashed 10 mins ago while browsing this forum...it's not crashed since 13.4 drivers :/...I've had it on 15.8 crimson for maybe almost 5 months and it's never crashed once with my 1200mhz OC...probably was just a once off incident...

@op that PSU is craptastic and it's not a very high wattage PSU either for the craptasticness it is...also if you think it's a driver problem, why don't you reinstall your drivers and see if it makes any difference no? Also, sometimes it may be a good idea to role back maybe one or two releases of driver updates as the newest drivers may not always be stable for everyone's card...

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I had a similar issue in quite a few games if I was in fullscreen-windowed mode. The crashes stopped when I swapped to full-screen mode.

Once i overclocked the CPU to 3,4 with an aftermarket cooler that i borrowed and OC this beast and run Firestrike and got like 500W and i no problem, the PC still ran very quiet. I think it is not the problem of the PSU

It's literally impossible for a 7950 + i5 to pull 500W in Firestrike - the GPU pulls 200W MAX and the CPU only 80. Something is off.

Counter-Strike™: Global Offensive fails to stretch on non-native display aspect ratios. As part of the new Display Scaling per game feature, users can set “GPU Scaling” to “On” and “Scaling Mode” to “Full Panel” in the Display options tab in Radeon™ Settings as well as setting “Display Scaling” to “Full Panel” in their CSGO gaming profile under the “Gaming, Profile Options” tabs for this to take effect.

I found the solution i guess
