Hey people, in need of some tips for my friends system!

 

Budget & Location:

1000 euro (1200~ Swiss francs)
Switzerland

This is just the site my friend mentioned but if you know of anything cheaper/better then go ahead.

 

Needed:

+        Case

+        Monitor (1080p or better)

+        Motherboard (Z77 - 1155)

+        Graphics card

+        CPU (1155)

+        CPU cooler

+        RAM

+        PSU

+        SSD/HDD (OS + Games)

 

Aim:

This build will be used mostly for gaming.

Why hello there fellow Swiss person! Just to let you know, you should also check all the prices on STEG , some things cost less there, others cost less on digitec. You can probably shave a bit off the price if you get the cheapest from each.

Why Ivy? Why not AMD? The budget is a bit tight to go Intel.

I ended up making a build for him (Kinda forgot i made this thread). Also my friend doesn't want AMD.

 

The specs is:

NZXT Phantom 410 Black/orange Ltd. Edition

MSI Z77A-G45

Intel Core i5-3570 (He won't overclock anyways)

Kingston HyperX Blu 2x4GB @ 1600MHz

Western Digital Caviar Black 7200rpm (SSD will be added later)

ASUS GTX 760 DirectCU II

OCZ 550W PSU

ASUS VS247H

Corsair H60

 

It's a quite good build and it was just around 1250 CHF w/Shipping :)

He ordered the parts yes, most of the haswell parts made the build way to expensive (for the same specs)
