I really like this mouse, but I've heard from people that it craps out after about a few months to a year of use. Does anyone have any long term experience with this mouse? Any alternatives to this mouse that are the same size?

Thanks for the recommendation, I'm going to see if I can find this somewhere to try it out. 

Right now it's between that and the CM Storm Sentinel Advance II.

trust me, the sentinel is nowhere near the same size as the Mionix. so if its big and comfortable you want, IMO get the Mionix.

 

check eBay. theyre usually the cheapest there.

Logitech G700s is also an option. Its quite big with a great ergonomic shape. The Gamdias Zeus Linus just recently unboxed also looked interesting but having not seen it myself I can't really comment how big or awesome it really is.
