I think the Wan Show should move to YouTube live, why?

  • Have you noticed that the last Wan Shows the stream is very inconsistent.
  • YouTube is very consistent
  • YouTube is faster (I can watch Twitch in mobile definition and stopping to buffer and in in Youtube I can watch live at 720p without it getting stuck)

I use YouTube live once a week and it has never failed me. And I also recommend you moving to Wirecast, its really good for live streaming and almost never fails.

It's not Twitch, it's their inability to spend a couple hours at any point in the past like year and a half to get everything functional.

It's negligence.

Literally every single show something is wrong. I don't think they've had a show on time without errors this year yet.

This isn't Twitch's fault, It's either their ISP, or it's internal

Even if its not Twitch's fault, I think YouTube might better.

they have loads of followers on twitch too, not that they dont have more on youtube but i for one really dont like the youtube stream viewer, i much prefer twich and twich chat is awesome :D i see no reason for them to move, the problems are allways that they screwed up something, not that twitch is screwing up, and honestly i think its a bit funny to see them trying to solve there problems on the fly. oh and another thing, Twitch subs. they are an income that they more then likely dont want to miss out on.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

Last WAN show had technical difficulties on the side of twitch. That said the Youtube player has given me all manner of issues that the twitch doesn't. Of course i'm just a data point.
