HyperX Cloud 2 Headset

Hey guys, I just got the HyperX Cloud 2 Headset and I have an issue. When I try to start Sound Blaster Cinema 2, it doesnt recognize anything and closes. I am using the onboard audio on my MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard. Is this an issue due to the fact it is going through the USB plug? Is there any way to get it to work? Thanks.

The usb thing is a sound card so you dont use your onboard, there for Sound Blaster Cinema 2 will not see your headset. It will only see jack headsets or headphones.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

i have sound blaster cinema, it does same thing as the dongle does as far as i can tell, making virtual surround sound. didn't realize this for a while, thought my headset has gone wrong somewhere as left/right side situations clearly went to both sides. virtual surround does nothing in my experience ;d
