I just got the silverstone sg-13 and it's so awesome.

 

While it fits the ATX psu with ease, I can't fit my 3.5 HDD comfortably inside the case. I found an offering on Craigslist for the silverstone ST30F. it's a 300w 80+ Bronze unit.

 

My rig has a 960 ftw by EVGA, an i5 4460, an ssd and possibly a HDD. WOuld it be enough.

 

I've done my share of searching but no one seems to give a straight answer.

 

Also, I'm studying to be an electrician and have a fair bit of experience in soldering, what about chopping down the cables of My current ATX psu ?

300W seem a little low. Did you try to make your build in https://pcpartpicker.com ? It gives you a total consumption of the system

gives me 229w. I just don't wanna buy something to see it die in a month. there's an offering of that psu on craigslist and I could get it cheap, that's why I want it!

Used PSUs are never a good idea.

I got the case from this dude, It was a client build but the client cancelled, He's selling cheap 'cause he got paid anyway

Well, does he accept returns? If so, get the PSU and test the system on it but don't overclock.

Good Idea, 4460 is locked but the 960 FTW is factory oc'd, But I don't overclock any more than that.
