I've been trying to get onto the Internet on my new windows 10 pc for a while now. When I click on my internet icon go to network settings- dial up- start up a new connection- connect to the internet it tells me that windows cannot detect any networking hardware. Then it asks me if I would like to show connections this computer is not set up for. These are broadband (PPPoE) and dial up. How can I make my computer compatible with these methods or how will I get networking software?

1) Dial-Up is on its edge of existence. You most likely won't find a dial up solution, unless you really want free 56kbps connections.

2) Broadband is much easier to set up than dial up, you just connect it and it works. You should have a router.

So when I go into dial up and put in my ISp username and password and it tells me I have error 651 the modem or other connecting services has reported an error
