well i always download a copy of a game to see if its worth buying it , so i downloaded mad max and it was 4gb, how they do this im just curious beacuse everytime that i try to compress something in my computer it only compress like 5%-10% of the original folder i dont know if the game was damage beacuse i only played like 30 minutes before deleting the copy but i want to know how they do this so if anyone knows please tell me oh and sorry if something is not understandable i dont know a lot of english

It's not really smart to imply that you illegally downloaded a video game.

You can just refund games on steam if you have <2 hours, no need to pirate them.

I usual dont dl any Game, but  if he realy just want check the Game, im ok with that. Since we have no Demos anymore and Devs lying into our Faces all the Time, Gamers dont have much Choice.

I dont buy 60€ Games on Steam when i can have a 40€ Deal in a Key Store. They (Steam) dont have any Costs besides the Servers and want charge us more than in times with physical Copys. Not with me. So the Steam Refund isnt an option most of the time.

cant, when i have money i usually have to make a choice between a lot of games since i only can buy one or they are in discount and if i ask for a refund  they have 1 week to give the money back and the discount is over by that time oh and some times i buy in humble bundle or g2a so no steam refund there

Do you remember how large the game's folder was after it was decompressed and installed?

 

Personally I would not have trusted a 4 GB version of a game like Mad Max, but it sounds like it did actually work. So that's interesting.
