Media Center, basic electronics, robots, home automation... whatever comes to mind actually. I'm still waiting for a Raspi Zero in Italy, so I haven't tried anything with that. But I have an RPi 2, and I'm planning on creating a cluster of these for distribuited computing and other stuff. Just for fun.

You can still find on youtube some projects, ore other ideas in other threads here in the forum

Hello all!

My friend just got a Pi Zero (Because it was cheap) and was wondering if there are any interesting, really cheap projects he can do with it. Thanks!

I used mine as a spotify-based chromecast like device. You could also try learning Linux as a beginner project.

Its automatic, just press this button!

Linux will be the base OS of almost everything you will do with the Zero, so the answer will be: almost everything

Learn the basic command line, installing packages, command line configuration, stuff like that. The Pi zero is a good board for experimenting on.
