Aida64/CPU-Z showing wrong bus clock?
Go to solution
Solved by Vaub,
Well, after a day of trying to solve that and 5m after I post a "help me" thread... I found the culprit! (yes, I know... fail)
Maybe it'll be useful to other people so I won't delete it.
The culprit was Hyper-V. I have no idea why, but that thing made my Task Manager / CPU-Z and Aida64 showing wrong cpu clock values.
I installed it as part of the Windows Phone 8 SDK.
Anyway, time to do a Windows 8 virtual machine for dev so I don't have to double check my overclock settings and question my OS stability ![]()
