No, the audio quality is lower if you ask me, but it really just comes down to what sound signature you like the most.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

Ah I see, well curious if you could rate the sound quality of Steel Series H wireless (without biase to Wires) from 1-10. Where would it stand? VS something like a K7xx or K533 Pro?

I use senheisser hdr175 for gaming.

Pros:

Wireless

They are not Bluetooth. They use a proprietary frequency so it has basically zero latency and larger range.

Confortable.

Optical and analog input.

They can stay on for 8 hours before recharging.

Nice sound.

Cons:

Expensive

I like them but when I bought them they were at half prize. Nos sure if I would've  bought  them at full price.

As you say, it's nice to go for a drink an be able to listen what's going on.

I've never used them but now I want them:

HD8 DJ

Here's a review of a model similar to the ones I'm using:

RS 185 RF

Oh, nice review hmm...ill also put that on my list to consider. Also, the hyperlink of the HD8 DJ that you replied to, redirects back to my thread? Is that the intent?
