Fluctuating USB 3.0 write speeds

I am an SSD

I have been getting very inconsistent write speeds to my USB 3.0 flashdrive from sandisk. Its brand new and there is no reason to think that age might be a problem.  I have attached a picture for your reference.

I get anywhere from 30-40 MBps in the beginning and then it comes to to 15, after which it varies between 8-15 periodically.

Seeing that it is a USB 3.0 flashdrive I expected better write speeds (Read starts at 120 and then comes down to 60; good enough for me).  Is it right to expect write speeds up to 100 MBps?

Bear in mind these speeds were taken while transferring a relatively large file from the PC to the drive and vice versa, and not from a dedicated application.

I have seen many youtubers use an application to test read/write speeds. If anyone can provide a link to download it, that'd be great.

It was just a .MP4 file, with a size of 3.84 GB

Flash Drives were never really consistent, for me anyway. Here's one of the HD read/write tests used http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskMark/index-e.html

thanks for that
