250 -> 500GB SSD

Hi, I recently purchased a Samsung 850 evo 500gb SSD but I want to transfer all my data from my old Samsung 850 evo 250gb SSD. I have read and seen reviews about the included Samsung cloning software and most of them said the cloned drive wont boot up and in some cases they loss their data. I am now really unsure what to do and what software I should use, any recommendation would be much appreciated!

Why not just use the 250gb for OS and stuff and the 500gb for games/mass storage?

I just want to move all my stuff onto the 500gb SSD for extra space not separate it.
