the extra IOPS or speed arent worth the price premium

 

any SSD will be fast enough for the average consumer and is of not much difference

the only difference for an average consumer is reliability

Did the slow reads on "old" data problem ever go away with the 850 vs. the 840 TLC?

wait was there such a thing? well the 850 evo's are recommended all over the web so i assume it's fine :)
