Hello guys i want to ask quick question:

Can for example if you have 1080p display and record gameplay video of 'X' game with 'X' software be upscaled to 4k while editing or something?

• Like for YouTube instead of the limit being 1080p for your Video to make it up to 4k, but recorded on 1080p display.

Yeah, but it will be blurry.

I remeber upscaling 480p to 720p in Windows Movie Maker, it looked like a plate of oatmeal lol

Hmmm because i was plan modding GTA V [ Realistic mods.... etc], but i dont think its possible to get 60fps with 1440p / 980Ti  on Ultra settings, so i have to go for 1080p display i guess.

Isn't that LTT's workflow? They record in 4K, transcode to 1080p, edit and render into 4K again, and upload as such. The advantage to it is to have the higher bitrate on YouTube so audio and visual quality improved regardless as to whether or not it was actually 4K.

I'll have to look up the video to double check, but I thought that's what their workflow was.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
