so at this point i am very happy with the system i have chosen for myself, it has good solid performance right now and has an awesome upgrade path due to the parts i have chosen. this system will be used for streaming, gaming, and virtual machine workloads. i know that some of you are madly in love with AMD but I was just not seeing what i wanted to see out of their parts so i opted for some of the newer intel stuff. i also have experience with nvidia and so even tho they are a bit more expensive i trust them. here is the build feel free to give me some pointers. i had been told that the amount im spending on the cpu i could get a better one http://pcpartpicker.com/p/THvPbv

keep also in mind i do plan to overclock the cpu.

Lol, I want to see you overclock that CPU, we'll be waiting for an invitation from the White House before you can. Also, the 750 Ti is pretty bad price/perforance. Just get something like the 270 for $20 more from AMD that's leagues better.

You can't. That was removed over a month ago by Intel via Firmware.

Anyhow, the 370 is around 40% more powerful. The S12II is worlds better than W1.

It's not possible - It's firmware-locked both from the boards and the CPUs now. Intel threatened to revoke the board partners' rights to the chipset so they fell in line. It's no longer doable.
