PCIe Help: 4 6+2 connectors

I have that PSU and I'm running a 7970 and an R9 290 with the daisy-chained cables. It's fine.

I recently purchased this power supply:

Now in the spec sheets and all the 4 year old videos say this power supply comes with two 6 pin and two 6+2 pin connectors. I was debating on GPU choices in the 980ti range after I purchased the power supply and realized that a vast majority of the cards take two 8 pin connectors. Bummed, I went and looked at the connectors and found out that mine actually are all 6+2, 4 6+2 pin connectors. So does this mean the spec sheets are wrong and need to be updated? They cables run similar to something like this:

Does this mean I could run two GPUs all running 6+2pin?
