Help with choosing a case

Go to solution Solved by SZ3r0,

Soupy you have a prebuilt PC worth around 300£ . You have a budget of 200...now i dont know if the are usd or gbp.

If i was you i will spend a little bit extra on the PSU and on the GPU. Let me give you some examples :

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/600w-corsair-cxm-builder-series-hybrid-modular-80plus-bronze-1x120mm-atx-psu

and for the case :

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-carbide-series-spec-03-with-red-led-fan-aggressive-mid-tower-windowed-computer-gaming-case

Jon im preety sure that he wanted to show us his computer. 540 case is specially designed for watercooling especially with rigid tubing. Spending around 100 gbp for that case is no reason for you . The spec 03 have a very nice look and also cable management (also someone here said that usually matx cases does not have enouf space...wich is tottally wrong)

I have an Aspire Tc-120 I just learned that I need to find out if a case can fit my mother board I am not sure where to begin. Orignally I just decided on choosing one that I thought looked the best, but I realize that is no longer the case. I wanted to get the Corsair Carbide Clear 600C Inverse ATX Full Tower Case. Please help!!!

Boom.  Question answered, close thread!

Just kidding.  What is your budget and what other components do you plan on installing into the case?

Im planning on adding a new Evga 500 B1 80 + bronze, power supply and a new evga Geforce gtx 950 sc gaming other than those items just the default leftover componets.

that is still fine for the air 540 if you have the room for it  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139022

Two better options given your mobo, the first is still a Corsair series case in case thats your preference:

Lol but, as long as it fits im okay with gimpy. Will I have issues with it other than the looks?

Cases for anything smaller than ATX have a long standing tradition of not having enough cable management room. By using a full size ATX case, you'll void most of those issues, but you'll inherit some other ones. You're gunna have to stretch a few cables to get them to route properly through the cable management grommets, and you might even have a case fan wire that might be too short to reach your mobo's fan headers.
