Just need some opinions on a 5 or 8 way gigabit network switch. I'll use it to connect my pc with a couple or more RPis and maybe something else if I need, so nothing expensive. Any suggestions? (price in € and possibly less than 25/30€)

I really don't like TP-Link. I have had a couple of their router and wireless access cards and i really didn't like any of them.

I have both THIS and THIS. The first one being for my pfSense router (because it is all Gigabit and a bit more robust) and the second one just for my room. Just for basic traffic between my PC's/Servers. (I would put them on the Gigabit switch but the servers are not important, just for testing and playing around with).

They both work, no complaints. The more expensive one has way better build quality though.

CPU: i5 4670k @ 3.4GHz + Corsair H100i      GPU: Gigabyte GTX 680 SOC (+215 Core|+162 Mem)     SSD: Kingston V300 240GB (OS)      Headset: Logitech G930

Aesthetically or funcionally? I have a TL-WN722N for when I need wifi on my RPi (actually it's for the interchangable antenna, as I sometimes use a 16dBi yagi, and the firmware) and it works perfectly

netgear are a lot more reliable than tp link tp link are okay just not the best

So if I wanted to just spend less without losing too much, TP-Link would be ok?

Build quality won't be a problem, I'll just hide it behind the monitor wall-mounted. and btw, is your tp-link wall mountable?

Functionally, it works fine. I just really like my netgear wireless access better. Aesthetically, the TP link drivers look absolutely awful, and suck beyond belief. This stupid piece of crap driver will force itself as the current window when im trying to play a game. For instance, playing LOL and i start pressing keys and moving my mouse. My character does nothing. I have to go and click on the task again because the TP-link driver "Un-selects them" or something.

whoa, that doesn't look good at all. Actually I prefer too the Netgear design, but I can't see the difference between the 300 series and 100 series (i found the 300 series at 4€ less, but I can't find what's the difference)

For the 8 way network switch? I don't even see a 100/300 series anywhere.

5-way switch. On Amazon.it I found the GS305 at 21.99€ and the GS105 at 25.99€. I can go with a 5 way switch if I just plug the other things directly to the router (tho an 8 way could be useful in the future, as I'm planning on a sort of RPi "supercomputer")

I can't see any serious difference between the two. The GS305 mentions a metal construction where as the GS105 looks metal but I don't see anything that mentions it.

yeah I'll go with the GS308, it's metal and costs less

Biggest difference is warranty. The 300 series which is their home office line has a 3 year warranty. The 100 series which is their business line has a lifetime warranty. Other than that, they are pretty darn similar other than color.
