Sorry for the click bait title, but I'm astounded at what just happened. I came back from cooking to watch some more Netflix on my PC, and I shake my mouse to wake up my monitors. The secondary display pops up like normal (runs on my integrated GPU), but then the main monitor pops up and...

Literally almost like that, more evenly colored though. I honestly have no idea what just happened, so I took a video and then restarted my PC. Now it's back to normal, but WTF?

The main display is running off of my R9 380 btw. That's why the secondary display wasn't affected, it's running off of my integrated graphics. Any ideas?

Probably just drivers being wonky and not properly responding for whatever reason.

If it's a one time issue then dismiss it. If it becomes a recurring issue, retire the iGPU.

Had it happen once

Ignore it turning on and off the monitor sorts it out.

Well when I hit the power button to shut down it went back to normal at the very last second, so I assume it was drivers.

try uninstalling using ddu and reinstalling your graphics driver

If it happens again I will, I'm starting to think it was Netflix. Buggy app is buggy.
