broken pci slot

hello guys  i have a question can i still use my mobo or must i replace it because  today  one of my pci slots  is broken i riped it off:( now i use the other slot  of my mobo is that a risk or must i cover up the pins ?

 i hope some one can help me here

as long as the pins aren't touching but it isn't reccomended

you should buy a new board

if two pins short eachother you could kill stuff like your CPU and ram or drives and other stuff
