hello,

my previous topic didn't get a solution, luckily the people from the webshop i bought my parts from were helpful, they suggested that it may be because of running games in exclusive fullscreen, so i tried it in borderless windowed and it worked, but i really hate borderless windowed, so does anyone have a better idea?

if you need any more info or have any suggestions, please reply :) (this problem is really really annoying)

previous topic info:

If i have a game running or already closed it and go on a site like vessel, 9gag or youtube (in order of likeliness) and watch a video (i don't know what triggers it on 9gag, i assume .gif's) my primary screen starts doing weird (i don't really know how to describe it). it only happens on the screen that i have selected as my primary screen, even if i have the video running on the second screen. it even happens with .mp4 files. The games i have tested it with (and had the same flickering) are: Warthunder, Total War Arena and Total War Rome II.

Things i have already tried:  (none worked)

Lowering the clockspeed of the cpu and/or the gpu

clean install windows 10

older gpu drivers

RMA the gpu

I had the problem with windows 7, and when i upgraded the problem persisted.

setup:

cpu: amd fx 8320 @4,2

mobo: asus m5a97 evo r2.0

ram: 2x4gb corsair vengance @1600

gpu: msi r9 270 gaming 2g   core @1050 / vram @1500 (has the latest bios)

psu: xfx ts series 550w 80+ bronze

hdd: 1tb wd blue

Screens:

1x 1920x1080 connected with dvi

1x 1440x900 connected with vga (dvi to vga adapter)

link to video as an example: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-8oNuhkqKqaX1NjYm45QkNyQms/view (don't be bothered by the sound, nothing interesting) (flickering at 2:00 in the vid)
