If you have money to spare I'd slap on an SSD aswell for OS and the most used programs.

I once explained to my girlfriend what true love is. I said, "If you were a shit, I'd put you back in" and to this day, she is still my little shit.

tbh i know where you're coming from

but by the time you need an upgrade, intel probably came out with newer platform that makes more sense to upgrade to than staying on the z170 platform

the i5 6500 will last you quite awhile, gaming wise

well if you're not going to run dual nvidia gpu setup, dont spend extra on things you dont need

unless this board is cheap lol

for skylake, i recommend people to go with hyperx or vengeance lpx, because skylake is picky with ram and those two have the best results ive seen so far

with the worse being ballistix sports ram

Also, for HDD a Western Digital blue would be more reliable and when buying an actual harddrive going for 1TB is kinda meeh in my opinion when you get get 2TB for £20 more or something. And since you might edit some videos that will quickly take up a chunk of space. So again if you have the spare money try to go for a 2TB or even more as you save quite a bit per GB.

No, don't give me that. I'm sick of that stigma.

Deciding on what one.

hard to say with ram, even same brands and model wont work well with each other some times lol

what you can do is check the motherboard's QVL for ram and see if the one you're trying to buy is there
