Overclocking GTX 970

I am just now getting to overlcocking (MSI afterburner) my EVGA SSC 970. Couple of questions. Is max power limit (110%) safe? How high can I go on Manual fan speed %? What benchmark(s) should I run that is somewhat quick that I can find a general range for my OC? I normally use valley. What benchmark(s) for stability?

depends on your psu and temperature

to 100% as long as you're deaf

i wouldnt recommend going too high as it may damage the fan `-` or im just paranoid

mine never goes above 60% for silence and its more than enough anyway (strix cooler)

i run firestrike for each oc, if it doesnt crash then ill bump up the core clock in increments of 5 `-`

and run unigine heaven for long term benchmark for about 4 hours-ish then run a couple games from high to light load to test stability on all loads (sometimes it crash on light loads)
