Why don't you ask your friend. To me they are garbage broken monitors. As they are. They are A- certified panels, so no or few dead pixels, but the panel has other issues, like back light bleeding that is not suppose to be there, malformed grid which means that you can have some pixels not as sharp as other (it might be a few, or many), it could have backlight bleed on a pixel, which you might or might not see, it depends on how picky you are. And other issues that didn't pass the full certification process.

The monitor are directly link to DVI port for most models, so you can overclock away without any monitor protection system kicking in, so you can enjoy burning the pixels on your screen as you trying to force an IPS panel pixel to turn as fast as 120Hz, and end up with a monitor that can't do it, so you'll get a type of blur effect, which people who never seen a real 120Hz monitor, and has the eye to notice 120Hz, think they are seeing more frames and a smother image, when in reality they are seeing a struggling panel. Speed of the monitor also varies. Some burned their panel after passing 65Hz.

All the people that I have read that had got these monitor comes from a budget TN panel.. so naturally anything, but anything would be better than what they have, plus you mix the fact that the screen is big, and that the panel is true 8-bit colors, and not 6-bit colors like all TN panels, (and MVA and eIPS panels), and they are totally amazed by it.

Also, as the monitor panel is directly connected to the DVI port, practically, you have no on screen menu, and only have 5 to 8 brightness settings with no level indicator or anything, and you have graphic card compatibility issue. While you might check the sheet and you can see that the monitor will work with your graphic card, nothing says that it will work with a newer graphic card.

Based on picture I am seeing of the screen, I am noticing that the colors are completely wrong, where they are over saturated for most cases. But I can't really fairly say that, because the camera might be playing tricks (which normally does, unless you are a professional photographer and have a DSLR camera and the proper lens).

The monitor also has no warranty.. ok it has 1 year warranty, if you are willing to pay the shipping of this beats of monitor back to Korea, which might cost you more than a high end trusted manufacture A+ panel, monitor. Oh and the monitor is glossy and everything is flimsy.

That's my view on it.
