could you guys give me some upgrade tips,but not something over the top...

Get 8gb of ram

and a better cpu

An SSD would make the system feel a lot faster.

just as I thought but since my salary is not something I can brag il slow progress and get ram first

8gb ram and an SSD I think would be the best upgrade route for the money in your situation.. Followed up by a better cpu depending on your budget.

get a fx 6300
