Best GPU for $350

For 1440p, the R9 390 would be the better choice.

Hmmm...I did some research on the different cards and am not impressed with the benchmarks, but then again I'm hard to impress with gpus, what kind of results can I look for in terms of Runescape and Sims?

390 is better than the 970. It has double the VRAM, and does better in games, especially at 1440p.

TBH OP if you can wait for mid-late june to see if new graphics card releases drive prices down, you should.

Well this won't be purchased for a while out yet. I was just wondering if there would be a big performance gap between the r9 390 and the r9 390x?

970 vs 980 is about the same

well then get the 390 or 970 but the 390 is better.... I would just wait a few months for new gpus if I were you

Can't say, but I imagine the cards will easily able to run both games as they're aren't particularly demanding.
