So I believe I remembered hearing of a recording program that uses something on an intel processor to record gameplay without a heavy effect on fps? What is it called again?

I believe it was a combo. of obs and Intel QuickSync I believe it was called? Probably remembering it wrong.

yeah raptor is bad, dont use that :P

look into obs and see if he gets good performance using H.264

Do you know of a good tutorial video I can send to him because I am sure he doesn't know how to setup obs for recording

just any on youtube with lots of views and uses a recent version of OBS :)
