Nokia’s Android phone still in production, won’t be cancelled until November

Last week we heard the news that actually Nokia was testing Android as a backup plan, but since Nokia is now under Microsoft, the plan should be abandoned already. But according to a Chinese site CTechnology, the plan may still be here.

 

According to CTechnology:

 

codenamed “Mountain View”;

developed and tested by Nokia’s Beijing R&D team;

based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 8225Q chipset;

aimed at the affordable handset market;

the device is in a pretty advanced prototype stage;

Foxconn  manufactured more than 10,000 units before Microsoft's acquisition;

the device still in production; 

this project won’t be cancelled before November;
