Hello everyone, on my graphics card, my pins are starting to rust. how can i prevent it? is it possible to get the rust off of it?

Gold doesn't rust. Im not sure whats causing the gold to corrode. what are the conditions like where this PC is?

A picture would be very helpful as this isn't something common. I've never seen it before on a GPU.

It shouldn't be rusting as its gold, so there is most likely something else wrong,

how can it rust? i didnt even that that was possible xD did you get it wet or what, i didn't they used metal they can rust, you say pins so im thinking where you plug it into the PCIE slot and those are gold and gold cant rust

Well could oust touching them make them corrode or whatever? Also I thought the pins were an alloy or a compound so that's why I said rust.

if they are pure gold, then dont worry about corrosion. gold is stable. that is why we use it as currency. and its rather rare. and shiny.

Hard to see but on another of my Gpu, it looks brown and looks like it's rusting what is it ? How can I hpget it off ? (If u have an idea)

No developed country uses it as a currency anymore as far as I know. Most currencies aren't even backed by a "worth x grams of gold" guarantee anymore.
