yes but its often better if you dial in the numbers yourself,

you can often get higher clock speed or lower the voltage for the same clockspeed

 Does the asus z270 asus pro gaming auto oc? i dont have a recently updated windows 7 so there is no microcode to stop oc for 6500... so how do i dial back

im not sure if that board supports skylake OC, but if it does, you can just go into bios and change the bclk

MB i ment the z170 asus pro gaming 

When i turn on pc it says 12% OC i dont know if thats just the way it is or the pc has actually been oc'd

I went in bios and it said it was still in 3.2 ghz

but if you didnt dial in an oc, or ask the motherboard to oc for you

it shouldnt even overclock lol

i suspect that 12% is from turbo boost or just an error
