Netgear pro safe issue

Go to solution Solved by brwainer,

So what are the switch and manager IPs right now, and what are you trying to change them to?

Edit: So I read the manual for these switches. The manager IP is the IP address of your computer. The configuration utility only works fully when the switch and computer are in the same subnet.

I'm a noob in the networking world and I just got a netgear prosafe gs108ev3 and when I go in to the utility and hit apply it gives me a message Saying "The switch and manager IP address are not in the same subnet". Can someone please help me figure out how to fix this because I have searched  everywhere and found nothing. I took a look at the installation guide and it mentions this issue but no details on how to fix it.
