Help with new drive being initialized

I received my new Samsung 850 Evo 500GB today in the mail from ebay (new from micro center, tape had not been touched). I slapped it into my usb 3 to sata data and power adapter from startech quickly to see if disk manager would recognize it. It did and popped up with the little box asking if I wanted to initialize it, and possibly in my stupidity exited out of it thinking I would just do it later after I actually had it installed. Now I do and cannot get that window to come back it. The drive is recognized correctly in the bios but does not come up in disk managment or device manager. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Cant seem to find anything on the web about something like this.

I will add that I have unplugged the sata cable at both ends and re plugged them in as well as the power connector. Also have tried refreshing and rescanning disks in disk management and nothing.

Got it working, no one ask what I did cause im not completely sure.
