motherboard?

I'm thinking of making my little brother a gaming PC. I'm going with a i5 4690k and a r9 390.(tell me if a r9 390 is a good or bad with that cpu) but i'm not sure what motherboard i should choose so are there any suggestions? looking for a Micro ATX or Mini ITX. (color scheme doesn't really matter)

Cheapest Z97 mATX or mITX Asus board you can find. It will give great OC potential and have ease of use.

go for the cheapest h97 mobo if you aren't overclocking, and the cheapest z97 mobo if you're overclocking

Sense it's for your little brother do you really need a overclockable cpu or do you plan on showing him how to?

As for the combo it is pretty good and will be able to run all games 1080 at high-max settings, and there a lot of good z97 mobos you should base them around a color scheme or by how much you want to spend.
