Extremely strange issue with Razer Blade Pro

I was given a Razer Blade Pro that I can purchase for cheap if I manage to fix it. It's having a very strange issue with the display.

BIOS does not show up, nor does windows. However, backlighting does come on. It has suffered no physical trauma.

When I plug in a HDMI cable, I'm able to get to BIOS and everything else on a external display.

The built in secondary display(the touch pad has a LCD screen built into it) still works.

The strangest part yet:

When I plugged in a Ubuntu USB for testing, it came up on the main display and worked! (BIOS still did not however)

I am at a loss and have never encountered anything like this, so any input would be appreciated. I don't believe it's under any warranty still.

By the way, an LCD with running backlight but absolutely no signal on the ribbon cable is white. Just trying to rule out a faulty LCD or something... Is there any keyboard shortcuts for switching displays? Have you tried pulling the BIOS battery with the machine unplugged and the main battery out (if removable)?

Probably a hardware/software conflict going on. If you can update the bios if a new verson is available, if not than reflash the latest version.

on a second though i'm not sure if razer provides bios updates though and updating a laptop bios is often suicidal.

I am pretty certain the LCD is fine because when it came up in Ubuntu the display worked great. I'm fairly certain this is a software problem.

At this moment I'm making a Windows 10 usb(I know win10 is gross, but it's what the key is for) to reinstall.

I would but I don't have the Windows login and there's confidential information on the machine so I have to do a clean format anyways. I don't think it's anything that easy but I'll check when I reinstall drivers.

New update.

I got Win10 installed and win10 automatically installed the IntelHD and Nvidia drivers. It sees both displays.

The same problem persists however, with no video output on the built in display.

I went to go use Ubuntu again and the display didn't work like it used to.
