i want to upgrade my laptop ram so which one supports g skill 1600c9s 8gsq vs g.skill 1600c9s 8grsl      my current memory volts is 1.50v      For Samsung laptop RC510 intel 4gen 480m

The G.Skill 1600C9S-8GRSL is a low-voltage DDR3 module running at 1.35V. If your system is currently decked out with regular DDR3 SODIMMs, you'll want to go for that instead. The 8GSQ module (The G.Skill website doesn't list a CAS9 option for it though, only a CAS10 option: 1600C10S-8GSQ) is regular 1.5V DDR3 and would be your module of choice.

The Samsung RC510 manual mentions how to replace the memory, but not what with. You'll want to check the label on your existing memory modules:

• If they only list 'DDR3' or 'PC3-12800', or specifically state '1.5V', use the 8GSQ modules.
• If they list 'DDR3L' or 'PC3L-12800', or specifically state '1.35V', use the 8GRSL modules.
