That's a decent build for now, but honestly I'd consider prepping your build for more upgradeability. For instance, get a GTX 960 4gb GPU instead as well as an SSD for your OS and main games/applications. Hope this helps!!

I will be very honest in that I know Intel CPUs much better than AMD so I can't give the best apples to apples answer, yet I am aware that Intel is currently ahead in the CPU war since the newest AMD processors are based on relatively older architecture.

If you want 8 Gb of RAM, I'd suggest going for a 2x4 Gb kit dual channel is significantly faster, unless of course you are planning to buy another 8 Gb stick. Both builds look fine but I'd still recommend a 4 Gb graphics card as well as an SSD. Overall, your Intel build will probably fare better in terms of longevity, reliability, and compatibility.

For AAA games maybe Medium 60FPS at 1080p

AAA games at 1080p medium settings are MAYBE 60fps, probably 60 max

It's fine, but you can't use DDR4 2400 MHz on a B150 chipset. Unless it's the same price as a 2133 MHz stick, get the cheaper 2133 MHz.

Also, ARK is extremely unoptimized, and even if it ever does get optimized, you won't 60 fps with a gtx 950.

@ivan134@jorenccan you or anyone reccomend a buil off of pic specialists that will run decently

This is slightly under the budget you mentioned but leaves you space for an external optical drive, wireless card, WIndows, and whatever floats your boat:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 (Comes with heatsink)

MoBo: Asus H170-Plus D3

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8 Gb (2x4 Gb) DDR3-1600 MHz

Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120 Gb + Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4 Gb SuperSC ACX 2.0+

Case: NZXT S340 (Black)

PSU: Corsair CX500 80 Plus Bronze

Hope this helps!
