Special pc build

Finders

Hello guys

I'm Finders, nice to meet you :)

well, could someone please help me?

I need something capable of doing all things below at once. I don't know how much processing power is needed so i'm posting the list.

The machine should do all of this at once:

-2 virtual machines: 1 windows machine for basic program testing, and one linux machine for intensive tasks. I'm learning pentesting so the linux machine have to be able to run multiple scans, multiple decoding software running.. ecc. It's basically medium to heavy multitasking. I have tryied this on my laptop and, aside from the fact that it can barely handle that, it takes above 10 gb of ram just for virtual machines,  on normal usage (not heavy one, wich i intended to do).

- it should be able to sniff packets using wireshark, and, periodically, analyze them. Well, actually, on my i5-4200u, it takes from 10 all along to 45 seconds to filtrer packets. This is very frustating and time consuming, and i absolutely don't want my new pc to let me wait this time.

-i'm planning to have some chrome tabs opened too. Well, actually i'm using 2 gb of chrome tabs on my machine and i intend to do the same on the new one.

aside from all the things listed i'm a trader too: i would like to always have a monitor exclusively for chart consulting.

so the new machine  should handle all the things listed above on three 1080p monitors. 1 for vm's, one for the chart, and another for wireshark and others.

I have 2000/2500 EUROS to build all of this: but the 3 monitors, mice, and keyboard should be included.

Is this actually possible? And yes, i would like to play games as gt5 on 1080p at medium to hight details, filtrers included. Anyway i need a good GPU, so i can use it to handle other tasks without overloading the CPU.

2500 euros: it's possible?

hope it's not a too long post.

p.s i'm using 3 laptops, for the things listed above, just to avoid slowdowns ...  that's why i'm upgradingxD  :)

Not exactly those, but all those parts, the monitors might be hard, just using it as a list of parts that should work

You cannot use DDR3 on a motherboard that requires DDR4. Also, a little late to ask, but do you need the OS, peripherals and a monitor?

Maybe up the ram to 32 gigs? He seems to use a lot of those :P 10 min for vm's, 2 for chrome, it doesn't let a lot of room for the os or heavier tasks

Gaming rig : i5 6600k | EVGA 1070 FTW | 16Go DDR4 HyperX Fury | Intel 600p - WD Black

Laptop : Macbook 2017

Home server : AMD A10 7700k | 2*2TB unraid array + 250GB ssd cache

He really doesn't need 2 980tis, a 380x will do him fine.

Yeah, i know i cannot use ddr4 on ddr3 motherboards. i just want to know if the difference is really that much between them.

yeah, i need a os, better windows 10 pro,  and 3 1080 p monitors.  Anyway thanks for the build. All of you guys seems to be agree on the fact that i better take a i7-5820k processor. I never thought about this monster. Thanks guys!

i had actually disabled windows 10 page file, on a 12 gb ram laptop thinking i would never use the page file.

Windows crashed 3 times for insufficient ram before i actually realize i would better move some work to another machine xD  i think 32 gb rams would be better.. just in case :) I'm right?
