CPU temperatures i5

I render in Handbrake and Sony Vegas pro for an hour an my cpu is at stock 3.5Ghz.

Temperatures under load plays around 57-60 Celsius.So MAX it hits is 60.In CPU intensive games (Gta v,Dying Light etc) got the same temps.

Are my temperatures ok? Or is it better to boost my CPU fan a little and try to keep the MAX temp at 55 celsius?

Dude, you're fine. No need to drop your temps further, 60 max is cool enough.

Wow...nice uhhmmm forgot to say that i dont use stock cooler but a low budget one.

I have a Xeon 1231v3(basically a 4790) that peaks at 60 degrees with a 212 EVO. As long as you're not using peanut butter as thermal paste, you're fine.
