I have just turned on my netbook because it hasn't been on for. Over a week and every time I go into my computer then right click on something it stops responding. I bring up resource monitor and everything is at 0% so what's up with everything?

Everything else seems to work ok it is just the file browser. I can't even end the process of it or restart it. It is just frozen.

its an aspire one d255e running Windows 10 if anyone needs to know.

Usually it is because File Explorer is loading something that has been registered to it, and it taking either a very long time, or stuck, and waits infinity.

So you probably have a program that added something in File Explorer, and it doesn't like Windows 10.

To help you better: Usually, software that add stuff to menus, are: Anti-Virus, and other security software or zip and other format extraction/compression software. It can be other things, I just pointed 2 things that usually add stuff there.
