Avoid the gigabyte R9 390, not the best temperatures. Get a R9 390 from sapphire or even from XFX/PowerColour.

                                2-You will be better off with a core i5 and a lesser GPU, maybe a R9 380X.

I suppose that's an option too. 16GB is nice but OP could just get the same stick but just the 8Gb version.
