Hello everyone!

Im currently looking to downgrade my current logitech g303 for a SS Rival or a Sensei.

I love the shape of the senseis but not sure if its still a good mouse to use?

I like the g303 but getting bored of it and in need of something new.

Senseis are on a sale right now at my local Best Buy, tagged at $37.

The price is pretty attractive, but not sure if the mouse is still worth picking over g303.

I mainly play csgo and tracking speed / accuracy is a must.

Thanks!

A. I am a Pro CS player and only need 300DPI so if the mouse has more then that (Which it does) then you will fine.

B. Who cares what it looks like so dont pick it just because its pretty.

C. Be carefull about software though as the Logitech Gaming Software is one of the best so be prepared for a little worse software with less options but otherwise the SS Rival And Sensei are alright for CS!

Thanks for the reply. I'm not picking it because its pretty lol I'm picking it because I'm interested in that sort of a mouse shape due to me becoming more and more inconsistant with the g303. Software doesnt really bother me (unless its plantronics software.... thats what ruined my 788 experiece headset wise lol)

Yeah get either of them as they are decent for some games but the problem with cheap mice (including my G402) is that eventually the cables get stretched and now when i move my mouse right it disconnects so be carefull -_-

yeah, minor league isn't pro....

I wouldn't say no one needs above 300 dpi either.

The main point of higher dpi in FPS is to get the sensitivity you want without having to set the in game sensitivity high enough where your minimum movement is too high. So someone using a very low sensitivity would be fine with 300 DPI, but for many people and their desired sensitivities, they could benefit from well above 400 DPI.  Although its pretty hard to justify needing a DPI above 1,600 in FPS imo. But the general idea that high dpi isn't relevant, i agree with. Its pretty much solely for marketing.

As for the OP, the sensei is a fine mouse, especially if you use it on a hard mouspad.

OK LET ME CLEAR ALL THIS UP!

*I meant to say that 300DPI is what i use while playing CS:GO as it is low enough so that i can actually aim.

*Major league is for teams like VOX Eminor and Envyus not for regional teams like VOX Eminor D ect...

*And also i have earnt money from playing, i won $1000 in a competition 3 Weeks ago :P
