Cable Routing

I am installing a H100i v2. I saw a video where a guy ran the side fan and USB cables on the inside of the cooling block standoffs for a clean look. I'm thinking of doing the same, but was wondering if I should be concerned about heat affecting the cables.
I am cooling a i7 4790k and the rest of my case fans are ventilating fine.

welcome to the Linus tech Tips forums!

 

there is no concern on that type of routing. i try to do the same. just make sure that the fan/USB cables do not get in between the CPU and cold plate of the H100i on istallation.

otherwise a golden way to snake those cables from the mobo.
