You probably need to format the SSD.

 

In windows 10 (or 8 I think), you can right click the start menu, select 'Disk management', find your SSD (it should have a black bar while your HDD has a blue bar with one or more sections)

 

Right click the SSD, select 'New Simple Volume'

 

It should be usable after that.
